I think it was a good question, and I agree with Dirk we could bring the topic up to the top in a new thread and go over it more. I have a couple of ideas for it ;) As to the bits that are in or out of the Bible, I, like you, tend to take the attitude that no way does the Bible tell us everything there is to be known about God, but it does have everything we need to know, that is, in order to start worshiping God and understand the need for and provision of salvation.
