Hi d,
I'm not sure I agree with the comparison here. You said:

When a man who is lecherous for women starts to act out, women slap him and tell all their friends to stay away from him. The woman is an adult and the average woman will not suffer more than a small amount of harm from this (granted, some women who have a history of being abused may be triggered and suffer greately).

When a man who is lecherous (we aren't talking boylovers here, I hope) for a child flashes him or otherwise does something inappropriate, the likelihood of psychological damage is higher, and society may need to impose consequences to deter such actions.

I'm not sure it's fair to say an adult suffers less from a lecher doing something stupid than kids do. I remember as a kid we would make jokes about "flashers", indeed, kids fool around like that themselves, mooning and whatever. If some perve flashes himself, I think most normal kids will just giggle themselves silly and think "what a ridiculous fool (and so ugly)" and run off, and tell all their classmates and have a good laugh about it. I remember at age 13 camping out once with friends, and some weirdo came up to us and started telling us about how he had just one testicle and stuff. I remember just thinking "gross, what a whacko!" I'd forgotten all about it, actually, until you brought it up.

I've spoken to another BL friend. Some stranger approached him when he was 8, put a member of his body into my friend's backside. He remembers the incident as being more enjoyable than otherwise.

What do others think? Is a kid more likely to take damage than an adult from lecherous behaviour, or will he just shrug it off and forget about it, and get on with his life?
