Hey BLues, That was one of the saddest things I have read in a very long time. What could I possably say to you to help you with something like this? Once I thought my YF was gone forever. It is also a long story, but the gist of it is that his mom had a new boyfriend, and he didn't like me (the feeling was mutual, believe me!), and he wanted nothing more than me out of L's life. And so I reluctantly left him, about as "completly" as I could. I even moved with my brother to a different house in a different nieghborhood. (Not because of my seperation from L, but because my brother had gotten custody of his two kids and we needed a larger house to live in.) My friend, I want to tell you that I was THE most misserable excuse for a human being to be around after that. Depression became my way of life. I tried to think of ways to get him back, but Iknew it wouldn't work because of her boyfriend. I think I actually started thinking about suicide on an almost daily basis. I was a wreck! Blues, my story has a happy ending because his mom eventually dumped that loser and L managed to find whee I had moved to. I came home from church one Sunday afternon and my brother told me I had a suprise upstairs. It was L and I almost fell on my knees right then and there to thank God for His kindness and love! However, I know that this might not be the same kind of ending for you. But I want you to know this....BLues, God cares! He loves you with all of His great big heart and He knows exactly what you need in your life. I'm not saying that He will bring Michael back to you, I can't say that because I cannot presume to know His plan for your life. All I do know is that he can heal a broken heart (and even though you seem to be taking this well, I am pretty certain your heart is probably still in pieces.), AND He can (and will) take literally any bad thing or situation and turn it around for your (and His) good. These are not mere words for me brother, they are a reality in my life. My friend, to quote Ben..."You are not alone"! Not only are we all here for you, but God is there for you right now. Do you suppose it was by accident that you found yourself here? I doubt it, myself. I believe in my heart that God "brought" you, and me, and everyone else here. I find it almost impossable to believe otherwise. His love for us is just that great. And if He brought us all here, He must certainly have a reason for doing so, a plan if you will. And His plans are always for the good...for our good as well as His. He can and will make things right for you, I am not sure exactly how He will do it, but I absolutely know that He will! BLues, I am going to include my e-mail address, ok? You don't have to feel obligated to use it or write to me. Tuck it away for safe keepings if you like.
