hey all you guys out there... it has been a while. work has kept me entirely too busy to be in here often anymore. welcome to all the new folks, i hope tyou stay. it is wonderful to see this interaction. praise the Lord for this place! now, i have a thought for ALL of you. this board has helped many of us out in many ways. each of us knows its impact. in fact, i consider this to be an important part of my spirital family, and this often serves as a church for me. i can come here and get advice, friendship, laughs, anything. i do not attend another church regularly, although i am cruising them to find an okay one nearby. (dont worry, this is going somewhere....) anyway, for many christians today, tithing is an important part of serving the Lord. for me, it is a good reminder of how the Lord provides everything we have. i have been thinking of a good way to give of my blessings, as i have no regular church. here are some options, if you are in the same boat. 1:)send bach some $$$ to keep this place alive....i know this place aint free.... 2:)give $$$$ to a missionary support organization, they always need money. remember, though, as someone famous once said, (i think it was elvis), dont let your right hand know what your left hand is doing.... anyway, keep it in mind. living a full life, Scott |
