Hi Dirk, I know, I'm not Andy. But that was a very fine piece of research. I am going to have to read it through a couple hundred times until I understand it but... No, seriously, I will have to study it a little bit, but it sounds very right. I was especially impresed with what you had to say about time. I have heard another idea about time once that helped me to finaly understand salvation. Since "time" is a part of creation, then God rules over it as well. He has the abuility to see all events intime at once, kind of like a man looking at a picture of a line. We see time in segments of seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months...etc. However, God can see and interact with time anywhere He chooses, because He see's it all at once. Thus can ALL of our sins be forgiven...even those sins we have not commited yet. Because, if this were not so, than wouldn't Jesus have to come to earth and die on the cross every day of eternity. But, because of His relationship with time, He could die just once for ALL sins. However, it is stil every person's choice to make whether or not to accept salvation. I hope that made sense to you. That is my 2 cents, anyway (pun not intended, but funny just the same. ha HA). Love, Chris |
