d - The issue of monogamous homosexual relationships (and any other orientation for that matter) has stumped me more than any other issue in the bible. I have labored over so many other issues and found ways to either interpret them in a way that makes sense or to refocus my own view of what I thought was right. But I still remain neutral on homosexuality (yet for myself and my own lifestyle I choose to conclude that it IS wrong). The verses in Leviticus can perhaps be discounted because so many other Levitican laws were superceded by Jesus. But the NT is full of calls to be pure, to not be sexually immoral, and to NOT engage in homosexual sex. I cannot find any way around it, though I am troubled by the confict. I know many warm, loving, really great gay people (and BLs for that matter). On the other hand, most of them are not happy and would prefer to be straight if they could be. Most of them are estranged from their families in one way or another and most do not prefer the situation they are in. I'm very curious to know if you find what you are looking for.
