Hi Game, I think that perhaps, instead of asking why can't we rise above, the better question might be "why WON'T we raise above...". And I think part of the answer to that question must be because human beings are basically afraid to admit they are wrong, even when it is obvious that they are. And I believe we are also afraid of change, even if it looks like that change would be beneficial. We are a very fearful lot, even though we may not admit it. And this is why I think we can't or perhaps, won't, raise above our misconceptions and prejudices twords sex. Just my two cents, anyways. Your friend in Christ, Chris |
