After reading TQ's one post that is when the question popped into my head. I don't know much in this world and especially about this subject. As far as parental love including an attraction or whatever , however Pat stated it. I can honestly say that I've not ever felt attracted to any of my kids. The love I feel for them is so different than the love and attraction I have for my husband. See my hubby does it all for me, I don't know know what happened when we met but he's the bomb! When I had our oldest it was wonderful, just being a kid w/this kid and letting him be innocent the way I never got to be. So scratch the theory that parental love contains some sort of attraction b/c I don't buy it. Not trying to be sarcastic it is just it isn't there for me, I look at my kids and see pure innocence and nothing turns me on about that. I do believe there are different types of love out there, b/c we can not love everyone in the same way. I was just throwing a question out there. All I can speak for is myself really. Blues, I haven't been around much lately b/c I've been so darn busy on my house!! :o) Between keeping up w/the kids , housework , hubby, and everything else that falls in there I've been pretty busy. My time on here is being totally rearranged for me. lol. But never fear, I do think of you all often and wish for the best for you ALL!! Ohhh, I wanted to share this with you all, Our 11 yr old told me the other day that next year they will be teaching sex education to his age group, and he thinks that this is too early!! I never said a word, just said "really?" . Flipped me out. I thought I would be the one having to say that. :o) |
