Hi Cherub30, I was just getting ready for a fairly full day of writing e-mails and catching up on things with all of my friends out in cyber-land, when I thought to drop by here and read your post. I want to thank you with all my heart for your tremendous testimony of faith my friend. Your words come from your heart and I can see a lot of pain and experience in them. But I also see the end result of life's pain and problems when confronted and lived through great faith in God. I read joy in your words and love in your heart...love for God and love for your brothers and sisters too. A very, vey fine testimony, Cherub, and I want you to know that it really lifted me. Jesus is my best friend a well. He has always been with me, through so much of life's crap that I would not be able to write it all here without spending the rest of this day doing it. I met Him as my Savior when I was a boy, and He has always been faithful to me ever since. The times that I thought he wasn't there, that I "knew" for sure that He had left my life, He was very much STILL there, guiding me gently and loving me. He knows exactly what we need without us asking, but I know He appreciates it when we ask. Believe me, there have been some times in my life that, if not for the Lord, I would not be here today to punch the keys on this keyboard. I have not said this to too many people but for some reason, today, I don't care who knows, but I have come frighteningly close to suicide a few times. Once I had the barrrel of a loaded shotgun right in my mouth with my finger onthe trigger. I don't mean to frighten you, Cherub, or anyone else, I know this isn't a very pleasent thing to recollect. But my point is that God even saw me through that and a couple other close calls. PRAISE GOD!!! He loves us more than we can comprehend in this life. He cares very deeply about us and about ALL of our problems in life. He is not against us in any way, shape, or form; but is always FOR us. He believes in us! Thank you Cherub for your testimony...I needed that today. God bless you big time, brother. I'm so glad you've decided to stay here with us. I'll be e-mailing you and BLues today sometime.
