Feeling better

Hi Everyone, Thanks so much for your prayers and warm wishes. I have to tell you that I woke up today and I actually feel a little better. This whole thing has really gotten me down, too. I never, ever miss time from work and yesterday was only the second time I have called in sick. I have Mycoplasma Pneumonia. It sounds serious but it's nothing too major unless untreated. It affects your lungs and causes long coughing spells. It has really hurt me. But BLues has been wonderful to me throughout all of this. I know we tend to act like babies when we are sick and I am no different. In fact, BLues and I are the biggest babies of all when we're sick! So we are there for each other. He gave me the cutest get well card yesterday. And he has made frequent trips to the store to get me some of the essentials...cough medicine, orange juice, cough drops. I am so blessed to have this special man in my life. You guys should know that your prayers for my recovery are being answered. I feel stronger today and for the first time I feel like I am going to beat this thing! Thanks for your kindness, friendship, and love. Cherub30 |
