I have a very special prayer request.

Hi Eveyone, With so much prayer going on lately (Praise God!!!), I have it in my heart to ask a very special request for prayer for one of our brothers. As you know, Nash hasn't been able to post in here for a long time because of his money and bill problems. Well, he has written me snail-mail and I have to ask for everyone's prayers for him. Please keep an open mind when I tell you all this, ok, and remember that he is our brother in the Lord, no matter what. Folks, Nash is in quite a bad "place" right now. I am convinced that our brother is drinking himself to, perhaps, either an early grave, or an extended stay at a hospital or mental hospital. I am convinced now that he is an alcoholic. I do not feel bad about telling you this because I am an alcoholic also, and I know exactly what this disease can do. Right now he is powerless over the stuff, and I am pretty sure he is in denial about it big time. Andy and myself have tried very hard to help him, but it's getting bad for him now, and there isn't too much more we can do. I have a very good book I am going to send him called,"The Recovery Book" and as soon as I can get a copy, I'm goig to send him "Alcoholics Anonimous", commonly refered to as the "Big Book" by us A.A.'s. That, along with a letter and as much support as I can. But I'm afraid that the rest is up to him. And us too....in prayer! Nash needs our prayers right now, friends. I am more and more convinced in the power of prayer, so I am asking each and every one of you to please remember him in your prayers. And me too, I have never tried to help someone with an alcoholic problem from long distance before, but I know that with God,all things are possible. I will send him everyone's love.
