Dear Chris, Really glad you could face us straight away. That's what it's all about - being honest and open with each other. We're all in this together. It hurt when you were angry and it read as if you were leaving us, but I don't hold it against you. Yes, forgiving requires admitting hurt, not denying it. We must all learn to absorb the hurts we cause each other, just as God absorbed the hurt we all cause him in the person of Christ. God really does give us such a great model for reconciliation with each other in the death of Jesus - it's the offended one who provides the way of removing the offence! With love, Jules |
