Chris, Nat King Cole (I love listening to him even if I am half so deaf... "Flowers and Roses".) existed more than 50 yrs before any one us were ever born. I played his 75 rpm album on 1920 crank up ponograph and I loved to listen to his beautiful ryhmic music with his haunted voice that I cannot understand at all. I was only a "kid" in my early 20's when I cranked it up and listened to that... Considerable for someone who's very deaf... You should feel vibrations on it... *Music* Soft tempo and high tempo... Some old lady gave me that then I gave it away only last March because there were no room for it in my little apartment when I moved to it from a big old 150+ wooden 3-floor home... Where I kept that in the basement which I now do not have anymore. I can play harmonica and piano, just to let you know that... But my hearing is very limited with tinnitus that I have since 1989. I have been playing them since I was maybe 14-15... And still can do... Only for a moment until I had to stop when my ears start to *ring*, I hated that but had to live with it. I am pretty sure Nat King Cole is playing (he have been dead for like 50 yrs now) up in Heaven and wherever I play my own music, I will no longer be a deaf guy at that time anymore then. Guaranteed. God willing. KPK |
