No one ever taught me how to play it so I taught it all to myself. I can't even read music sheet papers because no one taught me how... It's all within inside my heart and soul. They never thought a deaf guy can play them but I had proven them being wrong... I even used to play them to some gay teens in 1980's and they were all so blasted back being impressed with what I can do. I am just part of my own past... I play music that is not from your time, really. A old man (now dead) who was a railroad man had taught me how to play harmonica back in 1970's when I was 14... He came from the Depression Era. He had left me with something that live on with me as today, with taking on something from 60-70's rocknroll music. Some based on Jimi Hendrix music style too. He really didn't think a deaf boy could play it but I got his harmonica and took off from there and proved him wrong. At his deathbed, I played his song for him with a harmonica. I came halfaway from a very old time... Not your typical Hanson band kind. KPK |
