A differential equation is any equation that is different. For instance...you could say that a boylover is a "differential equation" insofar that the world "equates" our love for boys to be "different". Equations are more accurately solved on the equator but different locations also yield good results. I have to admit that I was the one who first coined the term. At the time I was referring to any problem that when solved makes a difference for words in quotations but my friend was a math nut with a penchant for thievery who took the term for his own and is now living in Tahiti collecting royalties from times like this when the term needs to be written. Here goes another 3 cents...differential equations. Hmph! If I had only paid more attention to that gleam in his eyes when I spoke those magic words! Sorry for all the years of confusion on this matter. It was actually just out of respect for my tan friend.
If it makes a difference...good luck with your equations.
Mathmatically yours,
BLues.
