shall we ride on a rocket to a far asteroid and build a lovely celibate Christian commune far from the devices and deceits of the secular world? On the whole, I think Back pretty much summed it up well. I'll just put it a little in my own words. The question is about as meaningful as asking why any Christian has any dealings with non-Christians. I go to work, I live amongst adult heterosexuals who extol the virtues of morally glorious adult heterosexual non-conjugal sex. Why is dealing with proponents of adult premarital sex any different from dealing with proponents of boy-man sex? The principles are the same. Jesus ate with prostitutes. Why wasn't he vilified for placing himself in a situation where he might be tempted to start thinking extra-marital sex is cool? Actually, he was vilified for doing this...need I continue?... F.O.D. |
