Hey Chris. You should try and see if you could download some JT blues from the web. He was/is more of a folk or light rock singer/songwriter but in his bag he has a few very nice blues songs as well. Like (of course) Steamroller Blues. That one is awesome if you can find someone good enough to sing it. (my hand is raised..) :o) Then there is another great one called "Lo and Behold" Here are some lyrics for that one... There is also that funny tune which you have undoubtably heard called "Traffic Jam" At least I think that's the title to it. You know the one... Damn, this traffic jam How I hates to be late Hurts my motor to go so slow Time I get home my supper be cold Damn...this traffic jam. :o) How about that song by, ummmm, I can't remember who, I think Muddy Waters. I used to sing it out. "Aint No Sunshine When She's Gone" Yeah, I love that one. Of course, change the "She" to "My Boy's" :o) Those are all pretty easy to play on guitar and could even stand alone if you want to do it solo. Do you sing? Steamroller is great to do with just guitar and vocals. I'm gonna have to make you a tape with me singing some stuff on it. I don't know how to go about doing it though. I know you trust me, but still, there has to be a safe way somehow. Well, if anything just wait until I start putting some stuff on a homepage I am thinking about making. (cheering...applause....cheering...11 yr. old whistles and squealing) And "MC" steps out into the spotlight with his custom made boylover guitar in the shape of a mushroom haircut. Grabs a pic shaped like a little boy toe and lets rip the riffs that make the boys go wild and the wild go wilder! The prepubescent and adolescent packed crowd rushes the stage. Overcome with a "Beatle-esque" frezy they tear at MC's clothes. Take his guitar. Hundred's of 'em climb on the stage to try and touch their boyloving idol. MC, though warned by his managers to run when something like this happens, remains. Through an opening in the group I catch a glimpse of MC's face...smiling. :o) See ya later Mojo. BLues.
