Hi KPK, The movie, I think, tries to put across that very same idea of acceptance you were talking about. I think you will really appreciate this one a lot. The little boy who believes he is really a girl is very cute, and so is his/her boyfriend. But not only that, it really mannages to be a good movie without getting very sexual or having a lot of nudity (I didn't see ANY nudity to speak of). I like that to, because I don't think movies need to have all that sex and violence to be good. Story, acting, and plot are more important to me. I feel the same way about foriegn movies, too. They always seem to be more open to diverse human experiences. Where the movies made in the U.S. try to stick with "safe" issues. I've seen some really great foriegn movies. And this, I believe, is a good one. Love, Chris |
