I am in the mood to write. I of course could do that without posting but why in the hell would I want to do that?! SNUCK! We crept by the guards that sat waiting To stop us from going outside. STUCK! It fell on your warm face and melted. A snowflake the size of your eye! TRUCK! We sat there together and witnessed The flurry of white from above. LUCK! Is that how? Or divine intervention? The "why" is that we were in love. Fools like us! HA! Yeah, we were fools! A sillier pair never was! Because we were blinded, because we had better things to do than wonder if we were too close. Wonder if "they" saw it. Couldn't predict how they would trample us down and splatter our guts all over priceless works of art. My parting shot of you is tainted now. Stained with red and anger. That which sprang to life as thunder and lightning when our two lives (or storms) collided. We intensified to furious flames that dried the rain and puddles of lonliness. The larger, stronger ones were pulverized by our goulash sloshing puddle jumping. Splattering THEIR guts all around and laughing out loud when the job was done. But somehow they won. Somehow the water collected underground and in one last desperate attempt at snuffing our love out they attacked. Flooding. And we were both unprepared. Lost in the bliss of the love God gave to us both. We were washed away on a sea so bitterly cold. Drifting aimlessly now...I look towards the horizon and see the sun again. And in it your angelical smile. And I am warm once more. I guess I should get some sleep now. Gotta long drive ahead tomorrow. It's officially Christmas now so "Merry Christmas!" BLues. |
