A Prayer

Dear Father thank you for hearing us. Remove from us all hatred from our hearts. Forgive our sins even our secret sins that we are not even aware we have committed. Remind us of your love daily unless we forget and become lost in the darkness of this world. Father remember the tears and the broken hearts of the little ones who cry out to you. Remember your promise to them and to us. Bring us together in love and peace. Let us who have suffered take to those in pain the same love, compassion, forgiveness and peace you gave to us. Father I now know that we have suffered so that we can truly look into the eyes of your little ones and say with truth.."yes I do know your pain". Therefor we as your sons can in fact feel their pain as you feel ours. Many years have passed father since you have given us your love. It hasn't lost its power. It has grown. Let your love flow from us to others. Even unto your little ones. Let our arms embrase them even as you have embraced us by your spirit. Let our experience and understanding which is a gift from you become a comfort to them. We have felt the sting of rejection and persecution and we count it all joy now knowing that it was you who let us feel it as we have caused you to feel it by the way we have sinned against you. Now Father that there is peace from you let us share that gift with those who cry out in the darkness for your love. Let us together take it to them for it is the bread of life.
