Dear Mark- I just read your post about fear. Those you have spoken of are spoken of in the book of Jude. It describes them to a "t". The blind leading the blind..."stone throwers" who think God is a right wing conservative republican bent on family values. Do you know what God thinks of mans so called family values? He is disgusted by it. They have taken his words of love and made them laws of condemnation. I find those who use God's precious name to spread their own deciet and hatred to be quite pathetic.,...their judgement is assured in this life and the life to come. They have taught children to hate not only themselves but to hate others. I know you already know this but it's this type of teaching that causes children to commit suicide. Self murder. It was a family values community that ostrasized those poor boys at Columbine and it was the same family values bunch that taught them that the solution was to kill...that community reaped the whirlwind...they brought down distruction upon their own heads and again the innocent suffered...the wages of sin is death...that goes for the so called right wing christians...they are blind to their own sins and feel as thought they speak for God...I merely echo my heavenly father...I don't speak for him...he does his own speaking... Think of how differently life would have been for that community if one of us [dispised and hated] had been involved in those boys lives....bringing love and compassion by following the teachings of our Lord instead of the teachings of men? We would have brought love and peace as well as the strength for those boys to have endured the pain of rejection and persectuion they suffered before killing their neighbors and themselves.. The blood glistens brightly on the hands of all the stone throwers....and they continue to condemn the boys they already condemned...but with much more vigor now that those who were subject to them lashed back with fury...and hate...yet they can't see the hate actually came from them. Those boys weren't born to hate they were taught...and fear when combined with hate explodes into rage. Let's never forget what true love is and where it comes from...
