Dear brother, Deserves has nothing to do with it. Those who are opposing and oppressing you are probably many. Grace is unmerited love from God. We have been taught that God [Jesus] is like man and looks to judge whether a man is worthy of forgiveness. God doesn't work that way. He is always prepared to forgive. All you have to do is ask. Then you can proclaim your true innocence of anything you have ever done. If you read the many times King David cried out to the Lord saying..."I am innocent of God, I have harmed no man and I have no sin against you..." we all know David was human and therefor subject to sin as the rest of us, but, David knew God forgave and forgot. "Your sins are cast into the sea of forgetfulness never to be remembered."... Satan the accuser brings things up that even God has forgiven. The Evil One reminds you of the things you have done wrong. That's his job. God's job is to forgive and remove that sin from you as far as the east is from the west..." Forgive your enemies, pray for them that they will come to understand and require mercy. Mercy is having the power to punish and not doing so due to grace and unconditional love. Pray according to God's will and he will always answer you. Put God to the test by holding him to his word. Hold up his word in his face and as he said ..."Put me to the test and prove me.." tell the Father it's his Word and His promise that he made...he will deliver you from your oppressors. I will pray for you now,...but If I were there with you I would stand at your side proclaiming his love for you and I would defend you no matter the sin...as he does for us all. Let's all take his example and love our enemies and pray for those who are cruel to us. Jesus did the same thing when he said "father forgive them, they know not what they do"... I have much to share with all of you here. But I want you all to know that prayer does work. "Ask anything according to my will and that I will do for you..." Find out what his will is...It is written for you to be happy, prosperous, healthy, loving and forgiven. Keep these things in mind when you pray and make sure that all your prayer request will accomplish these things and he will do it. Many times I have been faced with enemies and cried for myself. Then His spirit said to me..."they hated me first, they will hate you also.." Then is when I realized that he had never done anything wrong and he was wrongly accused, mocked, beaten, tortured, arrested and murdered. Who am I not to suffer some things as well? In all that he did he did it to reveal the true nature of man and in doing so he revealed the true nature of God. Let us all emmulate him and share in his victory over His and our enemies. You will always be in my prayers to Him,...let me know when you are delivered.... With love and peace, Bill |
