Hi D J Spike: Was to your site and found it very wholesome, and enjoyable. I have written here a number of comments to others I believe you find useful. Welcome, to the CBL forum. One important aspect I believe is true that is often condemned by others is the fact that BL is endowed by God for us to reach the tender hearted. Christ was burdened the down troded of his day including children. It was common in his day that children should be seen but not heard, sound familiar. Children want to be recognized as people too! Often it is BLers that make the greatest leaders, examples, to children as God empowers them. I strongly believe that where God has gifted an individual is where his weakness lies. I would lie if I didn't admit that I too struggle with the proper balance. Paul did in his day in attempting to follow Christ (Romans 7). That of course does not give us a licence to sin, as Paul said God Forbid (Rom.6:1,2). Victory can be found as we walk with the Lord daily, and search His word. I have been to the highest mountain tops with the Lord, and the deepest valleys I still find Him near me. You can trust Him, where man may fail us. And don't stop going to church, there is none perfect, just seek where the Lord would have you. I feel in this forum we can share here what we strongly believe or think, where we dare not with the outside world. I desire to be used of God mightly as before He had used me to affect the lives of young people. Love in Christ, Compassion. |
