It's great you've found us so early in your life; it makes it even more painful to think you are alone with the issue; in fact we're all struggling with the same issues so here is a place where at least to some extent you can be real Some bits of advice from someone's who's survived the issue for many a long year: First off: don't do it! From personal and painful experience sexualising relationships doesn't work Be careful - don't assume that some at least of the kids haven't guessed and might be inclined to make a pass at you. Hide behind your church's rules about only having contact with kids in groups. And never admit it to a boy - they are unlikely to be able to cope In the long term - try and build relationships with kids at the top end of the range to which you are attracted, and try and avoid the younger end. Slowly you can move to less problematic territory Don't trust your pastor - sadly the laws about disclosure these days put them in an impossible position. But try and find someone you can share with and be accountable to - if needs be via this board (my email's there...) Enjoy the good aspect - you can be a really positive influence in kids lives because you are able to put up with them a lot more than others can For me, my perspective is to try and look back on this life from the reality of living with God in heaven for ever - however bad it is now, then it will feel like a bad dream, but in fact we will be in a better place for having resisted the temptations than those who had it easy 'They rejoiced that they were deemed worthy to suffer' Acts 5 v 41 is one of the more challenging passages of the New Testament! Finally - on a practical note, at the risk of teaching grandmother to suck eggs - the timing on your post suggests that you might be at school when you posted with us - clean up your browser after visiting.....
