Hi Compassion, Yes, I know that this board slows down from time to time. If you want to make a post,as you did, I think you will find that someone looking in will probably respond. Our posting volume varies greatly. Some weeks we will have lots and lots of new posters, thoughtful dialogues, etc. Other weeks I think real life gets us busy and out of the house. :) Does everyone prefer another forum? I think that I can say, almost without exception, that this is the preferred boylove forum of almost everyone who participates here. Sometimes I fear that the one I could open up to would be someone who would prefer to see me behind bars or dead. I don't feel that this is terribly likely, especiallyn in this forum, but it is an important consideration. Unless you have met them in real life, people on the internet can be almost anyone or anything. What they say here or in other forums could be very far from the truth. I am not suggesting that folks here are lying, merely that the internet is a medium that I take at face value, with a grain of salt. I never assume that a 12 year old is a 12 year old, or that a woman is a woman. That being said, I try to treat everyone in a fair and open manner. I also try not to release too many personal details about who I am, what I do, where I work, live, etc. Once your personal information is out on the web, you can never get it back. Keeping these points in mind, using semi-anonymous web-based email, and not offering/doing anything illegal means you should have safe surfing and meet many new and valuable friends in this community. We care! Compassion, we really do. I hope you have noticed that the number of posters here is much lower than BoyChat. Feel free to use both forums -- your immediate needs may be best met there, while this forum has a special intimate and spiritual quality that I don't find anywhere else.
