Welcome to CBF!

I am a celibate BLer in my late 30s who teaches at a Christian school in the U.S. I believe that sexual orientation is just like any other human characteristic: there are variations from person to person. No one knows what causes orientation, but we have no control over it. So we should not feel ashamed of it. I think it's immoral the way society shames and almost criminalizes certain orientations. I am in favor of loving man-boy relationships, but have real concerns about expressing them sexually.

I think that a sexual relationship with a willing boy is very risky for several reasons (many boys may not be comfortable with their own sexuality and feel shame afterwards, they may regret it later, they may internalize society's view that they were abused by a predator, their lives may be harmed when the sex becomes known by parent or authorities, etc.). Also, my moral inclination is that sex is probably meant only for a monogomous permanent relationship (which would not describe any relationship I could have with a boy, since I am not attracted to men).

If you are interested in "my story" (sort of my emotional/spiritual journey and coming to accept myself, you can find it at the link below, but I warn you: it's long.

I hope you'll post here more, and we can get to know you and support you.

Mark
