Don't feel bad. We all have times in our lives that we're silent when we should speak up. I agree with Degennero about politely telling whether you agree, or disagree. Satan wants us to be silent and not stand up for God. God wants us to be strong, in the power of His might. He did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline (2 Timothy 1:7). I know that's easier said than done, but like you said, silence is perceived as agreement. I pray that God will give you strength, and boldness in each situation. Not that you will be perceived as harsh, and judgemental, but that God's love will shine through you, and that He alone, will be glorified. H.S. |
