this same truth in the schools, by telling them a story of chocolate chip cookies. Most kids can relate to that. Oh, by the way hello Oliver, I am Compassion. The story went something like this...

You and your best friend come home and Mom has just made simply the best batch of chocolate chip cookies in the world. The smell is just out of this world, and you can't wait. As you walk in the door with your friend your mother greets you and your friend.

She then says, 'Don't touch the chocolate chip cookies they are for after suppper'. At that your mother goes to the basement to do the laudry.

You find you and your friend are just eyeing these fresh cookies. Then your friend says, 'How about we just eat one'.
You say, 'No, we better not', meanwhile wishing for a way to do it.
Then your friend suggests, 'We could take one and then rearrange the others so your mom does not know'.
You say, 'Okay...', as thought is just overwhelming. You take two cookies off and rearrange the others.

Then you and your friend proceed to eat the cookies to your delight. Your just putting the last morseful in your mouth, and your mother walks into the room. She sees you with chocolate all over your mouth and asks, 'Did you eat any of those chocolate chip cookies'.
You answer. 'No, Mom'.
She replies, 'Then what is that mess all over your mouth, and I can tell the cookies have been rearranged'.
Knowing you have been caught, you wimper and wine, 'Its his fault', pointing to your friend. He looks at himself saying who me!

Your mother sentences you to your room, and your friend home, with no cookies for after supper.

Does this sound familiar...

Love in Christ,
Compassion...:=Þ
