Christian Bookstores are Good for Somethng...

Hi All, Have you been to your friendly, local Christian bookstore lately? Well,if you have, I hope you did not go with the intention of finding anything remotely pro-gay Christian. It won't happen. Believe me...In have looked and looked for ANYTHING like that to read, but alas....none to be found! Now if your looking for books about how sinfull and evil homosexuality is, you will definately be in the right place. Anyway, there is still no reason to quit going there altogether. There are still plenty of really good books by Christian authors that cover a great many different subjects...even pretty good fiction. So not to worry too much. And, of course, many Christian bookstores also offer Cd's and tapes of really great Christian music. I go usually just for that, actually. That and a fiend of mine works there in the music deparment. So I love to just go there and talk with him about music and stuff. So don't be too discouraged, because there is actually a wealth of information and music and stuff (ours actually sells "Christian" candy, like "Test-a-mints" ha ha ha!). I hope someday a book like Mel White's Stranger at the Gate will find thier way onto the shelves of Christian bookstores, in fact, i think it would be a good thing to pray for. Love, Chris |
