I'd say what I said at Close Encounters – that Christianity isn't a building but a community of people. If you can't find a Christian community where you feel comfortable to participate, then baptism isn't going to amount to much, because it's hard to live a Christian life when you're all by yourself. For some Christian boylovers, this is their community; other boylovers have been able to find real-life churches. The others here will have to help you here with the specific problems of being a Christian boylover, but the important thing for you to remember is that Christianity isn't about rules and regulations and ticking off requirements to get into heaven. It's about putting your faith in Christ and receiving his help in transforming your life. Here is the passage (which you no doubt know) that many people consider to be the essence of the Gospels; take note of the last two paragraphs: * * * "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. "Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. "Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth. "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied. "Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy. "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God. "Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. "Blessed are you when men revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account.
