Hi Sheesh,

Baptism is the outward recognition of inner spiritual change. Being a Christian is our attempt to live out a Christ-like life of love and compassion.

You do not need to be baptised to participate here at CBF. And we have a wide range of posters with varying backgrounds in theology. I think you will find it to be a warm and hospitable community. If you have excepted Jesus in your heart, I do not think you are "damned to hell". Others probably have somewhat varying opinions of the process of salvation, but I think that the baptism is a sign of the committment that God already sees in your heart.

It is important, however, to become involved in a Christian community. Many on this board can tell of the trials to find an acceptable church home. I might suggest you consider looking up a gay-friendly church in your area...

No one wants to live a life of hypocrisy.

Peace of Christ,
Bach
