Hi Cherub, I love Max Lucado. I have a few of his books...he is always inspiring. You know, one of the things I have learned by being a recovering alcoholic is that I can choose, somewhat, the kind of day Iam going to have by carefully choosing my responses to each thing that comes up durring the day...good or bad. We do have a choice. I can either choose to act and react twords lifes challenges as Jesus would, or any old way I want to....it's my choice. But I have found that when I choose to act as I believe Jesus would, I have a much more serene and fulfilling day. It does work, but it takes some practice. Although, I believe that as Chritians, we have the Holy Spirit to guide us AND empower us to do this. Thank you, Cherub. Just like H.S......I needed that! God Bless! Love, Chris |
