Sheesh, There always will be kids praying in school, especially on Final Exam Days. If you want to formalize prayer and the Ten Commandments as part of the study, which church will sponsor the programs? My mother's Catholic, my father's Baptist, my neighbor's Jewish, another neighbor's Muslim or the Buddhist from down the street. I would never compare prayer to hair color or cursing. God is above that. And I have a problem with pregnant teens but it seems some faiths have a conniption over passing out condoms. Silly guys, they think passing out condoms will lead to more sex. Kids have been fornicating long before the days of Jesus. I think prayer and the Ten commandments should be taught at the home and Church. I would not like to see Church directing kids at school - especially one I dislike. Sheesh! |
