Hi thebegining, I am so glad my honest testimony meant a lot to you. Praise God! THAT means a lot to me. I do not actually have a boy in my life right now, so I have been trying to reach other boylovers for Christ, as well as try to talk to non-boylovers, to (hopefully) help them understand us better. Have you been to "Close Encounters" forum? This is a forum that was created for the sole purpose of opening up communications between boylovers and non-boylovers. It is still in it's "infancy" but I can see the potential for good there as well. Anyway, to answer your question, yes, in fact, I just "came out" to a counselor at the Baptist church I used to attend regularly. Although, I kind of cheated, because I did it via e-mail. But he wrote me back and he does want to talk with me, face to face. I am going to do just that, too, even though it IS rather embarresing for me. I don't care, though, because I know that the Lord is always with me all the way. So, I will see how that goes. I'm sure you can probably imagine how difficult it is to do something like that. Christianity, in general, has only just begun to accept gays and lesbians....boylove is an even harder "pill" for them to swallow. But because I am a Christian, I desire more than anything to be able to be accepted by my brothers and sisters in Christ. It's probably going to be a long road, but I know the rewards will make it well worth the effort. I sincerely hope you intend to stay here with us for a while, brother. You will learn much, I garantee you that! And, as long as you are here to learn or to help (or both....hopefully), you are more than welcome here, thebegining. I will be keeping you in my prayers.
