Hello, When you look around at this world we live in, you will see that it is far from perfect. Everyday there is poverty, illness, famine, starvation, murder and rape. This world is clearly far from perfect, but I don't don't believe that it has always been this way. When God created life, He looked around and said that it was good, there weren't any problems. But then the people wanted more, they wanted to be like God and that's were the trouble started. The first sin of mankind caused a division between God and us, because of this there is strife between man and woman, giving birth is painfull, man has to work hard to survive, ... I think that from that time on people started having problems with their sexuality amongst other things. Personally I wouldn't call being a boylover a blessing, neither would I call it a curse. A curse is something that someone inflicts upon someone to destroy them, and I don't believe this to be the case. I think this is just something that happens to be and I have to learn to deal with it. It was a curse of God, I doubt that God would offer to help us. So I would call it a test, in the way that life is a test for everyone. Life was a test for Job, Christ and Paul too... Life is a test when someone gets cancer, looses his job, loses his children,... These are all things we have to learn to deal with. But God has made us a promise: I Cor. 10:13: No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it. We don't have to take this test on our own, God will be there to help us along the way. But He can't help us, if we won't let Him. In any case, for those wo know Christ as there personal Saviour, that blessing will outway any possible tests that we may come across tenfold. And that's why I am greatfull to be who I am, because I now God loves me and wants me to be the best I can be. God bless, zip |
