Sheesh Cherub, I remember the announcement that there would be no more prayers in school. In 1962, most televisions were B&W. By 1970 most were color. In 1962 most families had one phone and that was black. By 1970 there were phones everywhere and in colors. In 1967 the film "I am curious yellow" showed nudity. Five years later it was unusal for a film not to show nudity. Some of the ills you talked about was hidden in the fifties. A pregnant woman could not even be shown or TV. Did every couple sleep in twin beds. It was an era of silence. Times change. You have not made a connection to loss of prayer to any of the social issues. I am not mocking you, I am disagreeing. I do hate you, that I admit. After all you Blues and i don't! I By the way, my mother got divorced in the fifties. Love, Sheesh! |
