Jules - In principle I have to agree with the writer's approach to masterbation. Removing the lust aspect of masterbation does put it into a different light. I had thought of this once myself. Unfortunately, my own desires pretty much eliminate this as being the solution. My struggle with lustful thoughts far outweighs my struggle for physical sexual release. Furthermore, my body has pretty much taken care of this anyway: I have had a number of wet dreams over the past few months. I masterbated so much as a kid and throughout adulthood that this actually never happened before! Can you imagine having your first wet dream in while in your thirties? If this is a possible outlet for you, I would pursue it. It carries far less consequence than many alternatives. You are not alone. Your brother in Christ, Ben |
