Life, love, boys and girls.

>since God made us with a sexuality that cannot be expressed within >marriage, he *did* create in us something evil.

This depends on whether you believe God created us boylovers or whether it is a curse of the fall of man. Personally I don't believe anyone is created gay I think sexual orientation is a highly complex part of the human make-up. It's not as simple as left or right handedness, it is variable and changeable.

> It would be wrong for me to have sex with a woman (or man) since I >could not love her (or him) in the way necessary for marriage.

Is this not denying the power of the almighty? Who can say in what way he can and will work. Some people pray for God to make them straight. Many have received an answer to prayer, indeed many have not. Take the sickness analogy. God doesn't inflict people with sickness, nor does the
Devil make people ill. Some pray for healing others live with it. God heals some, others die prematurley. It's not a sin to be ill, but it does affect peoples lives and the decisions we make with respect to our relationship with God.

(Before the flamethrowing starts - I didn't say Homosexuality or boylove was a sickness. I was comparing it to a sickness in that, it's there and people have to deal with it!)

I praise God that I'm in relatively good health. I do have a sexual attraction for teenage boys, BUT I'm living in Gods world and so I obey his word. Unfortunately for some of us this means denying what we feel and living what we know instead. This is an issue for many Christians, not just those who struggle with sex issues.

>FOD wrote that "sex is good." How can that be true for BLers?

God has ordained that Sex between a man and a woman in the confines of marriage is good. And indeed i believe it is. I look at it that, I take all the pleasure that I get from having had sex outside Gods will and imagine what it must be like for God to approve sex and how wonderful it would be to make love to someone whom I really love with all my heart and someone I am extremely sexually attracted to.

>I think we need to face the fact that we pretty much believe that for us, >sex is bad.

I couldn't agree more - Unfortunatley.

In love
