Thank you for the kind words. I have lurked here about as long as I have participated at the Open Hands forum. I do not share the same faith as some of the regular posters here and do not feel as though any points I might make with regard to a differing viewpoint would be welcome, or seen as anything but a lunatic trying to destroy someone else's belief system. I am also not nearly as educated as most of the regulars here, or anywhere else for that matter, and half the time, I cannot say with certainty or conviction that black is not indeed white. In surfing to this and other sites of this nature, it has become apparent to me that I am or was guilty of doing or saying to others what I myself did nto want to hear. The forum I used to post at had members from here and at other sites visit there periodically, but becasue they were thought to be "the evil boylovers" they were quickly and summarily invited to not post any more. I hope in time that those who end up reading my words and suspecting who I used to post as there will be able to forgive me my closed mindedness and UNcharitable attitude. (I will not entertain speculation in the area of my former nick elsewhere.) I freely admit that I certainly do not have a direct link to the heavens nor do I have all the answers either. Half the time, I can't even formulate the question, let alone think of possible answers. I hope I do not cause anyone here or elsewhere any discomfort with my lurking, but I do not feel it unhealthy to at least "listen" to what others have to say. On a purely selfish note, those of you who read this and have a strong Christian faith, please remember me in your prayers, I have recently been diagnosed with pulminary disease. It is nothing lifethreatening at the moment, but I am told it will only grow worse over time. Thanx again, Luke |
