shyguy just posted an interesting article at BC, about the term "pedophile", and one sentence therein goes a long way to explaining why I feel it is completely natural to think of myself, a boylover, as "gay".

I think that places the question squarely into the right perspective. What does the boy think? If a boy falls in love with you, does he think of you as "pedophile"? If so, then what is he? More likely he thinks of you as gay, as he is, and he's thankful for it, and doesn't understand your objections to him falling in love with you.
