Probably most of us agree with you - at a guess - but all of us have been through these arguments till we are bored, frustrated and irritated about it all. It all comes down to a matter of how you interpret the bible, and our liberal brethren appear able to interpret it to say whatever they want it to :-( Which is why noone has roused the enthusiasm to reply on this one in detail - it tends not to go anywhere. If anyone can point our friend at a site where he can get his head round the opposite arguments, I'm sure he would find it challenging, if hard work And you owe me an email :-(( Hope to hear from you soon |
