Paul was successful in removing circumcision as a requirement; do you think this is better alternative? Of course, I realize your comment was merely a figure of speech, but it could give rise to a new ritual and perhaps even to a new denomination, "The Church of the Holy Bindings." But I wonder, would it attract many adherants (so to speak). BTW, what sort of "lust" can a person experience and still, in your view, be a Christian? Or do you think of Christians as being totally lustless? ---Ford |
