Forgiven - While my interest in pictures is not actually pornography, but just pictures beautiful boys, perhaps in bathing suits and without shirts, I consider it to be in the same category of pornography. Looking at such pictures almost always involves lust, it objectifies the boy, and selfishly uses God's creation for my own pleasure. For this reason, I consider it to be sinful. I have put tremendous prayer into curbing my appetite for this sin, and have reduced its frequency from many times a day to once or twice a week. I don't think that God has tolerance for me doing it at all, but I also know that God is patient with me. Through the blood of Christ I, and you, are forgiven for falling short of God's perfection. This aside, I have many pictures of the twins from this summer, mostly face pictures or photos of me and them from this summer which have no sexual value for me. They are, by far, my most treasured photos. I do not believe that staring at them, and drowning in the love and caring that I feel for these boys is at all a sin. Noticing beauty that is created by God is never a sin. Only when it becomes something for us to sexually benefit from does it turn that way. Boring weekend? I am NEVER bored! Your are not alone.
