Somehow I can't help thinking that a debate of this kind is like a game of Snap. No matter how knowledeable and understanding the players are, cards get traded tit-for-tat; somebody gets all the cards, then we're into round two.

It seems nobody is really interested in playing the other's hand (not even in exchanging a few token cards at the outset of the game) because THAT would be against the rules.

Am I in some way wrong do you think?
