Hello David, It sounds like your are struggling with a lot of what ifs and whys about boylove. I am also close to your age and have seen the blessing and curse of Boylove, as Andy so well described it. I also made a post a month ago that deals with similar questions you have of "Why God..." Please read that if you are led. I very much respect your consideration of entering the priesthood. If you ever need proof of the blessings of embracing such a life as a BL, you might explore the life of Father Flanagan who started Boystown. Please continue to read the issues that face us on CBF like you every day. For many it takes years to overcome the guilt and self-pity we place on ourselves because of our "thorn". I am yet to be completely overcome of those feelings myself, but believe what you read about the mericles and life changes such feelings bring upon men and boys who share the experince of BL.
