For those who are interested, here's an update on what's been going on with me. A month ago I told my principal I would not be returning. I sent out resumes to about 25 private high schools within about 150 miles of my home. So far I have had two interviews which look promising, and another that is coming up next week. I have also been doing some training for another kind of job in case I don't find a teaching job for next year. These tasks, along with school activities, church, email, and planning our Christian Consultation on BL have kept me extremely busy, so I haven't had any time to post here (although I do read almost everything). I do hope to have the first issue of Paraklesis ready to unveil at our Consultation. This summer will be just as busy, but exciting. I will be teaching in a summer program, counseling at a church camp, visiting some fellow BLers, and possibly moving depending on my new job. Let us remember God's love and sacrifice for us, and seek to follow Jesus more faithfully this Easter. Mark |
