Rex, you're not listening! The whole point of what I am saying is that the command to be fruitful and multiply is one given to mankind as a whole, collectively, not to any one individual. So saying, Jesus was not under any command to get married and have babies. The command is to the race as a whole, not to any one particular person. If indeed, as Andy pointed out, it's a command at all. Maybe it's rather a blessing, as in "Be healthy" or "Be prosperous". What does the text say? "And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply"... The words "blessed" and "said to" are used, but not the word "command", not in this translation (KJV), anyway.
