Yes, it is courageous for someone to publicly advocate respect for BLers. However, I can't support Thorstad if he was defending men who kidnapped boys to molest them. Also, while I realize some parents are neglectful and abusive, and many BLers are good for boys, I can't support the idea that in general BLers are better than parents. I also doubt that most people wish they could have sex with underage youth. Of course, it is typical for the media to distort things when it comes to BL, and Thorstad may be more responsible than the media has portrayed. However, if not, I can't support him even if he does stand up for BLers. Mark |
