The terms "eternal" and "temporal" as related to sin are found in Roman Catholic theology, but not to describe sins themselves, rather to describe the consequences of sin. The eternal consequence of grave sin would be deprivation of eternal life with God, while the temporal consequences would be the lingering effects that would bring suffering in this world to ourselves and to others.
