'In Real Life'

In stories I've read here and on Open Hands I've frequently seen the phrase "People I've told in real life" used to indicate people who are not BL's themselves. What does this say about our brother BL's then? Are we not real people???

Without the aid of other BL's I'd still be quite alone. The friends I have who are BL's are real friends indeed......else what would be the use of this board or of the CCB?
